Rectification IT Return - Mistakes by CPC Bangalore

Now due to Mass Scale migrating the data base online and Customization of the software by the Govt. of India - CPC Bangalore is sending Orders U/s143(1) of the IT Act and demanding more Tax. Most of such orders are defective due to mismatch of Tax Credits. So far it was difficult to get such orders rectified. Now the GOI ,Ministry of Finance has made the Income Tax India Site (Toll Free 1800-425-2229) tax payer friendly. Rectification Process is Very Simple and explained below :

Log in your account at the Incometaxindiaefiling Site. Go to My Account > Rectification > Rectification Upload 

[ Before Hand you must go to > Get upload XML of AY 2011-12 (or as case may be)]

Keep Ready the copy of order received u/s 143(1) and fill in the following at Rectification Upload :

Communication Reference Number for latest CPC Order (CPC/...) :
CPC Order Date (dd/mm/yyyy) :
Aggregate Income Tax Liability (As Computed, see the table below) :
Total Tax Credit Allowed (As Computed, see the table below) :

Give Reason from drop down menu if the mistake is by the assessee or CPC processing. It will take time and you need to keep visiting the site to know the status of rectification.
Upload the XML file {saved Before Hand you must go to > Get upload XML of A.Y. 2011-12 (or as case may be). Your e filing of Rectification is complete. Track the Status.
